Re: IPETRONIK CAN M.A.L.-PlugIn V01.01.00
Hello,
I downloaded the IPEmotion Demo Edition and I tested it at my testbenches.
We also have some older IPETRONIK modules e.g. SIM-SER.
So I want to configure and measure with my SIM-SER and then I noticed that this is missing in IPEmotion.
Can anybody help me further to work with IPEmotion and SIM-SER?
Thx

Hi spudnik,
Yes that's right at time the IPETRONIK-CAN M.A.L don't support the SIM-SER module.
I have a work around to use the SIM-SER anyway.
Use your modules for example with CANcard on CAN-Port 1 in the "IPETRONIK-CAN" M.A.L.
Configure your SIM-SER Module external with ipeconf 2 (use there the CANID's >1000) and export a CANdb file.
Change in IPEmotion the Hardware in [Signal] from "IPETRONIK-CAN" to "CAN-measure".
Add there you CANcard and import to the CAN-Port 1 your CANdb from IPEconf 2.
This is not a nice way but it works.
Bye

Hi Bo,
thanks for your workaround. That's really till now the way to work with the SIM-SER and IPEmotion.
But, the SIM-SER will be supported with the release 01.03.00 (planned for the end of this year) of the IPETRONIK CAN M.A.L. !
Bye
